DESCRIPTION:In this workshop you will learn the Basics of Quickbooks Online (QBO) operations including how to properly create a QBO account for your business and set up all banking transactions. \n\n\n \n How to properly set up an account\n \n \n How to connect bank transactions/Import bank statements\n \n \n How to categorize and reconcile accounts (accepting transactions)\n \n \n Where and how to pull up essential reports\n \n \n How to set up invoicing\, bill pay\, customer and vendor lists\n \n\n \n\nAt the end of the workshop you will know how to properly manage your business's finances in QBO software and how to access necessary reports such as the balance sheet to make better business decisions.\n \n\nPrerequisite of Hands on Quickbooks Online Training: Recordkeeping or basic accounting knowledge required. Instructor uses Quickbooks Online version. Please note that this is a hands on computer workshop.\n \n\nInstructor: Megan Goodall\n\nAfter years of experience in data analysis I transitioned out of field work to a different type of data analysis career\, bookkeeping. This career came to be after I applied my past career training to my family's finances and crushed over $60\,000 worth of personal debt. After this a lightbulb went off\, the joy and relief that I now live in and the freedom it has given me to give back financially to my community and charitable organizations inspires me to help others.
