DESCRIPTION:Free guided whale programs are presented at MacKerricher State Park each Saturday and Sunday 11:00 am\, now through March 25\, 2018. Meet the docent naturalist at the park visitor center to learn about the annual gray whale migration. Look at the whale skeletons on display at the park. Then drive to and walk on the wheelchair accessible Laguna Point boardwalk to look for whales. Binoculars are provided to help spot whales. Wear layered clothing. Conditions can be cold and windy. Rain cancels program. Leashed pets are allowed on this program. Program cost is free. Call 707-961-0471 for more information.
