DESCRIPTION:Symphony of the Redwoods welcomes spring with concerts on Saturday\, April 1st at 7:30 pm and Sunday\, April 2 at 2:00 pm at Cotton Auditorium in Fort Bragg. This concert will feature auditioning conductor\, Bryan Nies. To add to the experience\, plan to attend the pre-concert lecture one hour prior to each show.The program opens with Quiet City by Copeland. Next is Haydn's Concerto for Trumpet featuring Scott Macomber. The final piece will be a Symphony by Dvorak - either Symphony No. 5 in F or Symphony No. 7 in D. Tickets are available at Out of this World in Mendocino\, Harvest Market in Fort Bragg\, Brown Paper Tickets online\, and at the door. Symphony of the Redwood's current COVID-19 protocols do not require proof of vaccination or a negative test result. Masking will be optional\, but strongly encouraged\, per guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
