DESCRIPTION:In September Partners Gallery presents a retrospective of work by Joan Burleigh. Burleigh has been living and making art on the Mendocino coast for more than 50 years.  She has worked mainly with acrylic on paper.   She exhibited with Partners Gallery for a number of years.  Now\, the gallery is honoring her with a retrospective show of selected works from her lengthy career.   Of her work she says: "I paint to reach the place within me that is free of controls and boundaries\; where\, on a fortunate day\, my spirit can soar!"\n\n \n\nThe show opens September 11 and continues through October 6.\n\nThere is a Second Saturday Meet the Artist September 13\, 5-7pm.\n\n \n\nPartners is at 45062 Ukiah St in Mendocino\, CA.\n\nGallery hours are Thursday through Monday 11 to 5pm.\n\nwww.partnersgallery.com
