DESCRIPTION:Mendocino Art Center's Artists in Residence Exhibit\, an eagerly anticipated annual showing\, features a wide spectrum of new artwork   including ceramics\, paintings\, printmaking\, jewelry and sculptural works in a variety of media   created by the artists during their residencies at the Mendocino Art Center. Also on exhibit will be Michael Wilson and Susan Spencer's "The Beat Gallery   Art of Merz\," featuring assemblage works using reimagined pieces of rust and metal\, wood and plastic\, and paper and paint\; and Russ Christoff's photography showing\, "From Maine to Mendocino\," accompanied by Wendell Rickon's rustic\, recycled and upcycled furniture. The Mendocino Art Center hosts a free Second Saturday Artists Reception\, April 14\, 5pm to 8pm. Enjoy snacks and wine\, and meet the exhibiting artists.
