The Sequoia Room is proud to present The Alan Broadbent and Harvie S Duo on June 21 and 22nd. They are on the heels of their new release on Savant Records called &ldquo\;New York Notes&rdquo\; just released in April 2019. \;
\n\nAlan and Harvie originally met at The Berklee College of Music and sporadically played together over the years but when Alan moved back to the East Coast 6 years ago they have been playing\, recording and touring steadily. Harvie played on Alan&rsquo\;s last two Jazz trio and orchestra projects which were recorded at Abbey road in London. The first being the highly acclaimed &ldquo\;Developing Story&rdquo\; and the 2nd a Dave Brubeck dedication coming out in December 2020 on Dave Brubeck&rsquo\;s Hundredth Birthday.
\n\nThey will be playing a mixture of Standards (The Great American Songbook)\, originals\, and Jazz standards.
\n\nAlan is known for his work with Charlie Haden&rsquo\;s Quartet West\, Diana Krall\, and arranger for Paul McCartney and the list goes on. Harvie S is known for his work with Sheila Jordan\, Kenny Barron\, Mike stern\, has over 400 album credits and was recently in The Sequoia Room with Roni Ben-Hur.
